These four and five stage filtration and reverse osmosis systems fit neatly under the kitchen sink and provide pure treated water via an attractive stainless steel separate tap. They come with a convenient pressure storage tank to instantaneously give several litres of pure water.
The first stage depth filter removes fine suspended solids (dirt & particles) down to 5 micron in size. The second stage carbon and 10 micron filter removes taste and odour compounds as well as residual chlorine from the mains water supply. The Reverse Osmosis (RO) stage removes 97 to 98% of all dissolved solids in the water as well as bacteria, cysts and viruses. The fourth stage is another inline carbon filter to give great tasting water. This system will also remove PFAS from the water supply which is becoming more of an issue as municipal water authorities around the world, and in Australia, sharpen their focus and testing for these so called "forever chemicals" that are harmful to humans.
This system includes all of the above four stages and has an extra fifth stage for remineralising the water with Calcium and lifting the pH. Refer diagram below for the plumbing arrangement.
Both systems require a licensed plumber to install. Many local plumbers have good expertise and experience for these undersink water filtration systems. Installation is very straightforward.
